Worship With Neill’s Creek Baptist Church
What to Expect
When you worship with us, you can expect spirit filled, dynamic, uplifting, Christ centered worship. The Bible is preached in a way that will challenge you, pointing you toward Jesus, and helping you in your walk with God. You will hear the truth of God’s word applied to the real life issues we all face. It is sincere hope that you will encounter the living Christ and leave encouraged and equipped to live a victorious life following Jesus.
What do you offer for childcare?
Each Sunday we offer a nursery during Sunday School and Worship for both newborns and toddlers. Our nursery volunteers are committed to loving your children and providing a safe, clean environment for while they are in our care. We offer Sunday School classes for school age children and children’s church for those up to 3rd grade. Our Children’s Minister, Avery Browning, would love to meet your family and learn how to best minister to your child’s needs.
Do you have more than one worship service? What time?
We gather on Sunday mornings for worship at 11am with both in-person and live stream options. Worship services are archived on our YouTube Channel so that you can watch and participate at your convenience. Before worship, various Sunday School classes meet at 9:45am for Bible Study and building relationships. On Wednesday nights we have a variety of Bible Study and prayer groups for all ages, as well as, small group Bible Studies that meet on other nights of the week.
On your first visit Sunday morning visit, we encourage you to park in one of our visitor parking spaces, near the front of the sanctuary, where you will be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team. The Welcome Team will help you inside and make sure you know where important things like the bathrooms and nursery are located. We desire to do everything we can to make your first visit the best it can be!
What style of worship?
Each Sunday you will find an uplifting atmosphere of worship as we sing songs that celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness in our lives. The music is always connected to the Pastor’s message or scripture theme for that day. At Neill’s Creek we worship through song by singing familiar hymns, choir anthems, praise songs, and instrumental meditation on the piano and organ. Near Easter and Christmas, our choir presents a special program of music. On each 5th Sunday we have even more singing by offering a “Prayer and Praise” service.
What should I wear?
There is no dress code at Neill’s Creek. When you visit, you will see some in traditional attire (Sunday dresses, suit & tie, etc) while others will be more casual (jeans and button down shirt). All styles are welcome in our church family as long as your attire does not distract or detract from the reverence of being in God’s house for worship. We believe that God cares far more about what is taking place inside of you than what you’re wearing on the outside.
How long does service last?
On a typical Sunday morning, Sunday School will last from 9:45-10:30am and Worship will last from 11am-12:15pm.
