This Sunday at NCBC, we will celebrate our 246th Homecoming. With gratitude for all that God has done, we faithfully forge ahead to fulfill the mission he has for the Light on the Hill, as together we worship God, make disciples, and minister to people in need. We are honored to welcome back our former Pastor, Dr. Mark Gaskins as our guest preacher. Dr. Mark Gaskins served as Pastor of Neill’s Creek Baptist Church from July 1993 through August 1996, when he was called to be Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Fairmont, NC. He later served as University Chaplain at Wingate University, then as Pastor of Jonesboro Heights Baptist Church in Sanford, Smithwood Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN, and Temple Baptist Church in Wilmington, NC.

He currently serves as Pastor of Murfreesboro Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, NC. He also served as an adjunct instructor in religion at Campbell University while serving Neill’s Creek and Jonesboro Heights, and currently serves in that role at Chowan University. He and his wife JoAnn hold fond memories of their time at Neill’s Creek. They have two sons and two granddaughters.
