Avery Browning

Children’s Minister

Ms. Avery Browning joined our staff at Neill’s Creek in August of 2024. Avery is passionate about teaching, missions, building community, and having courageous conversations. Avery’s primary responsibility at NCBC is children’s ministry, where she leads the weekly children’s sermon, children’s church, and Wednesday night children’s activities, along with other events throughout the year.

Avery graduated from Campbell University in 2024 with a B.S. in Elementary Education (K-6), as well as a B.A. in Theatre Education (K-12). Along with her work at Neill’s Creek, Avery is also the First Grade English Dual-Immersion Teacher at Coats Elementary School.

In her free time, Avery enjoys theatre and musicals, Disney, Hallmark, dogs, and the color pink. Avery also likes to babysit, travel, play basketball, walk in nature, and spend time with her friends and family. Avery’s favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, which says, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’”
